Popova Šapka is the most popular ski resort in North Macedonia. Situated in the Šar Mountain (Šar Planina), the resort is well-known for its excellent skiing and snowboarding conditions and nice sceneries. If you like hiking, you can go to the highest peak of Sar Mountains – Titov Vrh (2748 m)

Nize Pole (Nizhepole) Ski Resort – Baba Mountain

Nize Pole or Nizepole ski resort is our last choice among the top 3 ski centers in the Republic of North Macedonia. It is a good choice only if you are starting to learn how to ski, or for weekend skiing if you are located in the nearest town -Bitola. It is located on Baba Mountain in Pelister National Park.

Except for Mavrovo and Popova Sapka, other ski centers in the Republic of North Macedonia are quite small and not suitable for a long winter vacation. But, if you are just looking to learn how to ski or you wish for a ski day-trip there are a few more ski slopes similar in size or smaller than Nize Pole.
